La via ferrata est équipée d'échelons et de pieux / clous. Pas toujours très sympa.

Pas d'échappatoire. Quand tu débutes, tu la termines!

 

Conseils ViaFerrata

Il est possible de louer des équipements à la cabane du Gurnigel.

La région est assez remplie de randonneurs. Partir tôt pour avoir un peu la paix.

Par la route

C'est un peu le bronx pour y aller et la voiture semble le moyen le plus fiable.

Va jusqu'au parking de Wasserscheide

Accès

Tu vas chercher la via par le chemin qui mène au Leiterepass. Tu vas rejoindre le bas de la falaise et tu peux voir la via ferrata qui grimpouille.

 

Via Ferrata

Ellle monte de manière assez raide et tu découvres des passages qui sont assez physiques pour les bras. Mais c'est encore faisable et le gaz t'englobe.  Du sommet, tu peux voir le point de départ, c'est dire l'impression de vide.

La montée au sommet du Gantrisch se termine par plusieurs passages dans l'herbe..

 

Retour

Tu peux passer en direction du Leiterepass par le chemin dit alpin.

This via ferrata is equipped with rungs and stakes/nails. Not always very nice.

No escape routes. If you start, you finish!

 

ViaFerrata Tips and Tricks

It's possible to rent equipment from the Gurnigel hut.

This region is full of hikers. Leave early if you want peace.

It's a bit of a mess to get to this via ferrata but the car seems to be the most reliable option.

Contact the SBB.

 

 

Access

Look for the via ferrata via the trail that leads to the Leiterepass. You will get to the base of the cliff and from here you can see the via ferrata scrambling up the wall.

 

Via Ferrata

This via ferrata goes up rather steeply and you will discover some sections that are  fairly demanding for your arms. But it's doable and the void envelops you. From the top you can see the starting point, imagine the presence of the void!

The climb to the top of the Gantrisch ends with several grassy sections.

 

Way Back

You can go towards the Leiterpass on the alpine (as it is designated) trail.
